Cheese and Sausage Breakfast Casserole :
I made this yesterday, and I am having leftovers today.
- For the breakfast casserole base:
- 6 to 10 large eggs
- 2 to 3 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 6 slices day-old bread, cut into 3/4-inch to 1-inch-wide cubes
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup cooked Italian sausage
- Salt
- Pepper
Cook sausage and drain. In a bowl Mix eggs, Cheese and milk. Then toss in bread and then add sausage. Season to taste and place in casserole dish. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes or until center spring back. Let Cool and Enjoy.
- It's great for holidays get together too.
