Oatmeal cookies recipe

 

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies 

It's National oatmeal cookies day ! And this recipe is one from Mom's recipe box. .

• 1 C butter
• 1 C light brown sugar
• 1/4 C sugar
• 2 Eggs 
• 1 T vanilla 
• 1 T molasses
• 1 1/2 C AP flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 11/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 3 C rolled oats
• 1 C raisins

Preheat 350 degreess 

Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, cream the softened butter and both sugars together on medium speed until smooth. Add eggs , vanilla and molasses- Mix well. Add dry ingredients and Mix well and Chill.  Roll dough into balls and place on baking sheets.  Bake 12-14 minutes.
