Happy Homemaker Monday

 Happy Homemaker Monday - 04/10/2023

Hello and Welcome to my Home in South Louisiana. Hope everyone had a blessed weekend . It was great to gather the family together and catch up on things and enjoy some good food. But on to this week My son is on Spring break here from college and enjoying some family time.

Weather outside:

Cloudy and in the 70 with Rain for Thursday and Friday . At night in 50's.

Doing Later :

Blue and I are going on a walk around town while weather is good.

Outside my window :

the first Lilly's are blooming. This one is pink . But did you know you can plant Easter Lilly's from the store?

Did you receive an Easter Lilly as a gift?

It does not take much extra work to plant your Easter lily outside instead of throwing it away. With very little care these attractive plants will grow and multiply for years to come. Have you ever planted your Easter lilies outdoors?

  1. Interesting fact about Easter Lilies, love to read that. What a nice photo. I bought 4 lily bulbs at a plant store, simply because my neighbor across the street had such beautiful lilies in her garden during the summer. I'm really curious to see if they will grow! They are such beautiful plants. Thanks for your nice blog and photos.

  2. Love your inspiration this week! And I did in fact plant my Easter lilies from the store and they would return each year and bloom (though not as big). Hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. Aside from a dollop of coleslaw, I can't remember the last time I ate cabbage. I've not heard of it 'smothered' but will be consulting Google. All this talk of fresh veggies is tickling my fancy!

PS - By any chance was your mother's name Billie? A very long time ago I had a roommate named Billie Thomasson who had a daughter named Lisa.
