DEVIL'S FOOD SHEET CAKE
- 1 1.2 C water
- 2 C sugar
- 3/4 C butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 C AP flour
- 1/2 C baking coca
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Frosting of your choice
- In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from the heat. Stir in sugar and butter until butter is melted. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Pour into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
