Chocolate cake.
I love chocolate cake. And especially when someone else makes it. My sweetheart bought these cupcakes for me.
Homemade rose water from my roses.
I grow roses in my front yard almost year round. As they fall I gather them, dry and make things out of them . I love giving gifts made from my garden to others.

If you read my Tuesday tea time you know my obsession is a family thing. And I just can't resist a pretty piece of China. I try to use them but others I craft with. This I made for a friend for her birthday.
Swamp
When you think of Louisiana you think swamp people. But the swamp is special sight anytime of the year. Filled with an abundance of life and this is a favorite picture of mine.
Library books
I love my Community library. I volunteer as the Liberian and my son tutor here. My mother helped start our local library . February is library love month so go check your local library out and get a card .

I love those lovely delicate tea cups! I gave some away when I downsized to move from Florida to Tennessee and wish I hadn't. What a cute idea to use one for your friend's gift.

Library are always looking for volunteers to do things. I love helping others find books , help with homework or shelve books. Cupcake was awesome! Happy Valentines

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love my town library. I volunteer in the summer there when we have a "book nook" at the local farmers market. I'm there weekly during the winter getting out books. I'm an avid book nerd. hahah
I enjoyed your list of fave things.
I still have many of the tea cups my mom and grandma collected. I don't use them as much as I used to. Good reminder to pull them out of the cupboard.
