A Hodgepodge DIY

From this Side of the Pond

1. No foolin'! April is here. What's one fun thing on your April calendar? Easter, Spring garden tours,

2. It's often said, 'A fool and his money are soon parted'...what's the last thing you wasted money on?  I save money and a thrifty spender. Mayfe a treat .

3.  April 2nd is National DIY day. Are you a do-it yourself kind of person or maybe you're married to one? If so, what's the last thing you DIY-ed. If you're not a DIY-er what's the most recent job you had to hire someone to complete? I think I am my hubby is but only certain things. he fixed the oven coil the other day.

4. Do you eat lamb? If so do you have a favorite dish that calls for lamb? I do not eat lamb, but my hubby likes lamb chops and mint jelly.

5. Do you fit a stereotype in some way? Explain.

.
Stereotype: a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing.
I am a Southern lady that breaks stereotypes , I am not into clothes, make up, nails  or weekly hair appointments or doing lunch with friends. But I help my neighbors , attend church serves and keep my options to myself.

After a hard winter it's nice to see my roses blooming again. They* took a hard hit , but after pruning they are blooming. lisa

  1. Lovely roses. Ours won't be at their best until late May/June probably.

  2. I like your answer to #5. After the winter, it's always nice to see the flowers once again before the terrible heat of the summer months.
