Saturday Library Camp

It's Saturday at the library and we are finishing our Green week. 

We had a week of Green books, crafts and fun... learning about recycling , gardening and more. 


Week events : recycling drop off. .

We had a recycling drive at the library this week to celebrate... Green
Visit from our recycle truck ,and guest speaker.  








 Saturday Circle time 

 



In this Lola Reads picture book, Lola learns how to plant a flower garden in this simple and sweet story about gardening and patience.

After Lola reads a book of garden poems, she wants to plant some flowers. She gets books from the library and chooses her plants. Then Lola and her mommy buy the seeds, make the garden, and mark the rows. Lola finds it hard to wait, but at last the flowers bloom. Now it's time for a party with her friends!

The Lola Reads series celebrates family time and togetherness through reading, special activities, and new adventures.

Craft Time :  vegtable and fruit printing





Vegetables and paint is all you need. Cut up Vegetables in interesting shapes  Dip in paint and stamp on paper. 






Today we are going Green at the library....

Saturday guest speaker is Bob our local master Gardener. Talking about our community garden, how it works, volunteering and harvesting.  

Pam will be sharing recipes from the garden produce. She will also have Information about MWGC
Melville Women & Garden Club :




in the conference room : Quilt meeting today@2pm. All are welcome to join.  

Display of Patriotic quilts.. That will be displayed until July 4th.
