Diy Pineapple

Painted wooden pineapple 

I purchased this at dollar tree.  Painted in yellow, then my diamonds made with brown marker. And another layer of yellow paint. 


Did you know that in 18th and 19th century that pineapples where carved in furniture and woven in  fabric to show hospitality and Welcome to your home. 

It's also used to crown a large food display to Welcome guest.
