The Pumpkin Muffin Murder (Fresh-Baked Mystery) Book 5

It's Thanksgiving in Weatherford, Texas, and Phyllis is taking her grandson, Bobby, to the first annual Harvest Festival with hopes of winning the baking contest now that her friendly competitor, Carolyn, is judging and not competing. But when a decorative scarecrow turns out to be a dead body in disguise, Phyllis must dish out some justice...

Book Review  from the library
Continues with the delightful, realistic small town vibe and a vibrant story. First annual Harvest Festival with (naturally) a baking contest. It's been more than a year since Phyllis was "involved" in a murder however when one of her own is accused, Phyllis decides once again to investigate on her won. I certainly never saw the ending coming and was quite flabbergasted by it!. I can't wait to try the recipes and see if I can find a baking contest of my own to ente
