My Mom had a collection of cloth napkins but I am more of a paper girl so I decided to recycle them. They are the perfect size to make mug mates. For any season....
Supplies
Cloth napkins
Sewing machine , sewing supplies
Light quil batting
Scraps of cotton fabric
Heat bond
*Handrawn shamrock and flower
My green shamrock mug mat from a ❄️ snowflake cloth napkins ....
I simply fold in half with print side inside. Sewed around the side and placed my white shamrock I cutout and applicated it on with heat and bond. Then stuff with batting, sewed opening. And quilted and sewed around shamrock.
Spring flower napkin
I used a cute printed napkin here. And applicated the flower and quilted.
The shamrock and flower makes perfect place for your mug.
Have a great Thursday..... What are you making today?
