Tasty Tuesday !
- Today my hubby is making a family recipe. Pork fried rice with leftover Christmas pork loin. My hubby family owned a Chinese restraint in Toledo for many years.
1 C cooked rice . (best from day before)
Chopped pork in small pieces
1 Tablespoon of Oil
1 package of frozen mixed vegetable thawed
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp Ginger
You can use whatever vegetables you have on hand fresh or frozen .
Heat up oil in a skillet . Scramble egg in the skillet until completely set. Add n the pork to the skillet ( heat up) Stir rice, peas, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger into the pork mixture;
Today starts my celebration of Chinese new year. Year of the Snake 🐍
