DIY Pine cone Fire Starters

 

• Pinecones
• Wax ( Bees wax pellets is best but you can recycle old soy candles) 
• Can to melt wax in : too make your double boiler. 
• string, for dipping  and Salt

• My yard has a tons of Pine cones – so gather some large ones. Tie a strong on to them for handles for dipping in wax.
• Melt some wax : Paraffin, bees wax  or you can recycle some wax you have from old candles . And add old  Crayons for colors.
• Dip candles in wax , wait a few minutes and dip in wax again to cover your Pine cones. Then sprinkle with Salt.
• and let dry in metal cupcake pan.

The added Salt makes the Sparks shine. Table salt : Yellow  and Epson White 

Epsom salt: White
