Tuesday 4

Books

Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.

Books are such a big part of many people's lives. Maybe we should talk about that.

1. Do you have some books in your home? If so what subjects are they? Which is your favorite? bible, crafts , cookbooks and crafts

2. Do you enjoy browsing around in bookstores ? Do you have a favorite you like to go to? Love them. All types of bookstore from local to big retailers.

3. Do you think real books are clutter or do you just love having them around you?

Not clutter for me or my family.

4. What is the oldest book you've read and what is the newest book you've read or are reading. Oldest bible and my Mom copies of Nancy drew books. And Then there were crumbs .

  3. I forgot to mention my mother and grandmothers' collection of cookbooks. What a curiously named bookstore -- I'd love to peek inside!

  4. I have my Mom and Gran cookbook too. Black pot is usually a way to cook large quantities of gumbo or Jambalaya on a fire.

  5. I love your thoughts here. Our oldest girl loved the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Son number 1 loved the Civil War and as a child he adored MLK Jr. Middle girl loved Shakespeare. hahaha she has a degree in English Literature. Loved all those old books from that time period. Our youngest girl is into all the Christian books and books about various new baby things. Our youngest son loved Arthur (the Aardvark) and I am going to let Hannah have the children's books for their soon to be 5 month old boy. He is read to nightly so he is already acquiring a taste for reading. Books are knowledge. I am grateful when I attended Catholic schools I was made to have a summer reading list. Oh the reading I did than and even now. Have a blessed weekend.
