Monday at Home

Happy Monday from rainy Louisiana. I hope everyone had a great weekend, we took time out to go see some Christmas lights around our area. But today I am finishing up some baking for friends and family.

• Another cloudy, rainy week in Louisiana. 

This weeks plans : 

I am having breakfast and coffee, while make the week plan.

Dinner in the crockpot, as I have baking planned today.And we will deliver our gifts  tomorrow  . I have a small shopping list to make online and pick up Wednesday morning.  That afternoon we have a  community gumbo Wednesday night after church.  

 

On the Menu 

• red beans and rice in crockpot
• spaghettis and meatballs 
• Gumbo
• Christmas dinner : baked chicken and sides 
• Chicken pot pie 
• Pizza 

It's just us for Christmas so we are keeping it simple and sharing with friends in need.

After Christmas I am doing snow time , then Mardi Gras, Chinese new year and Valentines.  

In town

The library on Saturday we made mini gingerbread house.  We are closed until January.  

MWCG town decorating contest 

In Church : Community church and gumbo. We visited the shutins with food baskets.
