It's always so hard to pick just five things. But here's mine for the week...I hope you have a great weekend and come back to visit....
April rain and May Flowers: we have had 3days of rain . So I am happy for sunshine and flower.
My friend Ann birthday is today 🎉 We are invited to her birthday dinner party Saturday.
My sourdough bread is a hit. A friend helped with the starter (yeast) mix. And some help in the kitchen.
Today we are volunteering at the food bank and mobile market. A great way to feed my neighbors in need.
Road trip to visit Sunset herb festival. One of my favorite places to buy things for my garden. Tonight a master garden class and tomorrow herb shopping.
How wonderful to volunteer with the food market! Food scarcity is a real thing in the city where I live and we give often to the local Food Pantry.
ReplyDeleteYAY for spring rains and flowers.
Happy birthday to your friend.
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Thanks so much.
DeleteI love your craft room! That breads looks really good too. I have not baked bread in years. Maybe I will try sourdough. I need to find a recipe for that. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks , a friend helped with starter and guidance.
DeleteI do a lot of volunteering at our local foodbank so I know how necessary that it is and how rewarding. Sounds like you had a good week. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks we enjoy it. And if you have the mobile market in your area check it out.
ReplyDeleteThat bread looks so good. I have never had fresh yeast bread turn out well. Yay for rain! I meant to mention on my FFF that we had gotten some, too--a nice gentle rain with no thunder or storms. Glad you got to volunteer and then go to the herb festival.
ReplyDeleteThese were all great faves. That Sunset herb festival would be right up my alley. I am so excited to finally plant my flowers this coming week (I hope!)
ReplyDeleteHow kind for you to help with the food pantry. It's a good way to meet so many people.
The sourdough bread looks like a success. I'm sure it tastes yummy.
Have a good weekend!
