I am making treats for the neighborhood kids

Frankenstein Halloween Rice Krispie Treats

Breakfast Foods

• 6 cups Rice krispie cereal

Baking & Spices

• 1 Jimmies sprinkles, Black

• 1 Royal icing eyes

Dairy

• 4 tbsp Butter, unsalted

Desserts

• 10 oz Candy melts, green

• 3 oz Candy melts, black

• 1 10oz bag Marshmallows, mini

Make the rice Krispy treats and let firm up. Cut in squares.  Melt green candy melt and when ready dip a end in melt. Then into black sprinkles. Add eyes.

Hats can be used as table decorations or costumes.

witch hat directions.....

i used directions from 📌  for insperation.But the base is a cardboard round from pizza. And the top light cardboard or construction paper. I sprayed painted after assembled.

Steampunk hat

I used the basic witch hat  directions to make the steampunk,just reshape the top. The goggles are swim goggles from Dollar tree clearance bins.

After Halloween remove decorations and decorate it for a Snowman top hat.

Halloween Recycling time

We are celebrating Bat  week to bring Awerness to the bat.....

My Bat Wing jar! 

it's Bat wings time! I used a great printable,  punched  out bats from black cardstock and book pages for sides. With material ribbon for bows. With a touch of black paint for highlights and grung looks. 

Iam filling my jar with candy to give to my book loving neighbor Pam. Who shares library desk duty with me. Have a great day 😀

It's National Chocolate day! 

1box (15.25 oz) Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix

• Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
• 1cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
• 1/2teaspoon orange paste food color
• 1cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
• 1/2teaspoon black paste food color
• 1/2cup black candy-coated chocolate candies
• 1/2cup orange candy-coated chocolate 
• • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.cake and bake cake mix as directed on box for cupcakes, using water, oil and eggs. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely.

    In small bowl, mix vanilla frosting and orange food color. In another small bowl, mix chocolate frosting and black food color. Frost one side of each cupcake top with orange frosting and other side with chocolate frost

Happy Wednesday and we are getting ready for a Halloween party . I made one inexpensive decorations by recycling some items I had at home.

Dough bowl decorations...

My cute pumpkin are made from lemon juice container. Painted and added leaves.

Our paper witch is made from an old magazine folded. 

After folding magazine I added head and spray painted it black. Added hat and broom.
