It's time to change the bulletin board for November.   We are  featuring Native American books ,crafts and food as well as books about giving ,  So join me today at our local library. Lisa 


Our feature kids book -the Giving Tree The Giving Tree is an American children's picture book written and illustrated by Shel Silverstein. First published in 1964 by Harper & Row, it has become one of Silverstein's best-known titles, and has been translated into numerous languages.

Check out these cute crafts using basic supplies : Empty tubes , scrap paper ,ribbon and flowers. All fun and easy to make with the kids,  Lisa  Stack two rolls together -top cut smaller. Back feathers is cut from construction paper -edges  cut with decorate scissors. Eyes and beak glued on. 



This cute Indian -  leaf headdress, clothes paper and ribbon. 
Naplin rings from cut rings from paper towel rolls. Decorated with flowers and ribbon.
