Heart : Napkin Decopodge

Today I am sharing my latest napkin Decopodge project.  

Old Metal cookie tin

White chalk  paint

Mod podge 

Sticker

I painted my cookie tin white. Let dry. Coat bottom with mod podge and add heart napkin around the bottom.  . Let dry. 

Add mod podge  to top lid and a torn piece of heart ❤️ napkin to the middle.  Let dry. Add a top layer of mod podge to seal napkins. And why drying make rose out of papkin layers. Add to top with  hot glue and leaves . Add sticker and rub on black ink around edges. Let dry. 

I am filling with homemade candy. 

Napkin

You will need to separate the napkin before using.  You will use only the top printed layer to make your project.  An easy way to tear a napkin edge is wet slightly with a wet brush and tear slowly.  

Rose

I separated napkin in layers and stack then  fold in  a triangle, clip corners and bottom like a petal. Wrap slowly around a skewer until a rose shape forms. Fluff out and paint lightly. 

On paper bag

I Decopodge the hear napkin on front of white gift  bags. After dry I brushed the edge with water on a  brush and tore edges. Make heart out of felt and add ribbon 🎀 and button with  white stitches around edges.  Glue on. Add stickers to finish.
