Dark Academia...

 

Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.  Toni loved to have people open their minds and think about things .. think into things.  Let's try that this week okay?      
 A popular trend in home décor and mood background music is called  *Dark Academia and it is based on novels set on old university campuses that have secrets, love affairs, mystery and the scenes and mood these novels evoke.    Velvet sofas, old books, Victorian wallpaper, deep high back chairs, antique photos and paintings,  candles, romantic lighting and classical music are all part of it.

2. Put yourself into this scene.  Where are you going? To the building

3. Do you have a companion or are you going to meet someone? Who is it? Alone, meeting a contact. 

4. Using your imagination describe who and what you find inside the foreground building.  Is it a restaurant, library, academic building, a home?       Its a library filled with information.

  Happy Homemaker Monday - 01/22/2024 Welcome to my Home this Monday morning ... its cloudy and expecting Rain but the temperatures  is warmer. My old house is not built for frizzing  weather with wood floors and house above ground but we made it. Lots of Hot coffee and biscuits for breakfast. Dinner in crockpot. Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake

  The perfect cake for my sons birthday dinner.... 2 C AP flour 2 C Sugar 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 C Sour Cream 2 Eggs 1 C butter 1 C Water 5 tablespoon unsweetened Cocoa powder Icing 6 Tablespoon Milk 5 tablespoon unsweetened Cocoa powder 1/2 C butter 4 C confectioner sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan. Make cake: Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat in sour cream and eggs. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in water and cocoa powder. Bring mixture to a boil then remove from the heat. Allow to cool slightly, then stir cocoa mixture into the flour and egg mixture until blended. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out . About 20 minutes.   Just Wondering.. a Toni Repeat  This week slipped away from me and I didn't get the Tuesday 4 up.
