Sewing machine review

Today I am doing something different. I writing a review for my new sewing machine. I bought at Christmas time.

First I am not new to sewing machine . My Mom taught me on an old Singer machine. I was a home ec major at college and sewed on a Viking. Later in like I bought a Bernina machine with all the bells and whistles and cost.  But now it's time for a new machine for basic sewing.

Why Brother machine?
I have used the brand before and trusted that I would get what I paid for. It has a 2 year warranty and was available at my local Walmart.

It's  was under a hundred dollars and great for basic sewing and mending. It has 17 basic stitches and built in button holer. Perfect for what I need.
Also would make a great gift for a new sewer.

My thoughts: buy a machine to fit your needs. And don't let all the bells and whistles sway you. The extras are nice but unless you plan on using the extra features don't spend the money on it.
If you want the extra ,go to a local sewing store that has lessons, knowledgeable help and service plans.
