At Home this Monday

Good Morning and Happy Monday !

We had a quite weekend. We had Rain all weekend so some outdoor plans * parade)  got changed but we had fun inside with the kids making holiday crafts for Valentine. An then church on Sunday  and afternoon movies. Hope you had a great week . And a blessed new week.

Today is Sunny but very Windy outside. but Yeah! for Sun..... Blue's buddies are out running around. Squirrels! 


Now I am inside :

Drinking my morning coffee and having biscuits while writing this post. Still Chilli outside so I am In sweats but I will probably stay in them since I am staying Home today. Crafting and reading.  

My List :

  • Monday chores
  • dinner in crockpot
  • Blog emails and post
  • get outside and clean up. Collecting pine cones for Crafting.  And branches for another project.

This week I am getting ready for a busy holiday week. Chinese new year, Super Bowl, Mardi gras and Valentines. 

Weekly Menu:


  • leftover bbq chicken and dressing
  • Chili Mac
  • Pork chop casserole
  • Vegetable soup 
  • Shrimp fettucine 
II will be posting some holiday recipes for the upcoming week. It's all about the Food at our house.

The Kids Krewe made Valentine boxes and cards. Next Saturday Mardi Gras box parade floats. 


Women Club Annual Valentine Tea & Roses : a lovely tea to raise money for garden projects in town. We award gardens of the month and community gardens.

  3. Hi Lisa! I can't believe Mardi Gras is next Tuesday already! I remember about food and because I remembered Ash Wednesday is on Valentines this year (the Catholic in me - Lol) I love your inspiration this week. So sweet. 💜
