Hello everyone and Welcome to my Home: Today is the Monday before Mardi Gras here in Louisiana. We had a busy weekend but we did have to change some plans because of Rain. But we are  all ready to start this busy week off... lisa

After our morning walk and chasing squrills . I am happy to see Sunshine. I am still in legging and sweatshirt as I drink my coffee and muffin and write this post. First chore done.

Happy Chinese New Year ! Year of Dragon

A time for family to come together and celebrate.

Lunar New Year is a celebration of the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year 

on the lunisolar calendar. It is the most important holiday in China, and it is also widely celebrated in South Korea, Vietnam, and countries with a significant overseas Chinese population.

 Celebrations last up to 16 days, but only the first 7 days are considered a public holiday

 (February 10th–February 16th, 2024).
