Maple Latte book and recipe

Happy Monday ! And today I have the perfect pairing Coffee and a book all about Maple latte....

Murder by Maple Latte
A Harper Sullivan Mystery (Book One)

Welcome to Maple Hollow, where the coffee is always fresh, the neighbors know your name, and murder is never on the menu.

Harper Sullivan thought she'd left the excitement behind when she returned home to run Maple & Bean Coffee Roastery, the cozy café at the heart of Maple Hollow. Life is simple—serve great coffee, catch up with old friends, and enjoy the charm of small-town living.

Then the town's most influential businessman is found dead during the annual Harvest Festival.

What first appears to be a tragic accident quickly becomes something far more sinister. As whispers of greed, hidden agendas, and long-buried secrets spread through the community, Harper finds herself working alongside Sheriff Luke Bennett to uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.

The deeper Harper digs, the more she realizes that even the friendliest towns can hide dangerous secrets—and someone is willing to kill to keep the past buried.

Perfect for fans of clean, traditional cozy mysteries, Murder by Maple Latte blends clever puzzles, memorable characters, small-town charm, and a touch of slow-burn romance into a mystery you'll want to solve with a warm cup of coffee in hand.

Welcome to Maple Hollow.

Your table at Maple & Bean is waiting.

Book Review:

A good clean cozy with a mystery to solve and coffee in a magical small town. With interesting character, make sure you enjoy it with a cup of coffee.

Mid Autumn Festival

  • Construction or other heavy colored paper (red is a traditional color for Chinese New Year)
  • Scissors
  • A ruler
  • A pencil
  • Tape
  • A stapler
  • Glue, glitter, stickers, markers, paint, sequins, and other things to decorate your lantern
  1. Fold your sheet of paper in half lengthwise.
  2. With your pencil and ruler, draw a line lengthwise on the paper one inch from the top of the unfolded edge. This is your "do not cut line" that marks where you stop cutting.
  3. Now, take your pencil and ruler and draw lines one inch apart from the folded edge to the do not cut line.
  4. Cut the paper along the lines to the "do not cut" line.
  5. Now unfold the paper. If you flip it over and re-crease the fold in the opposite direction you can hide your pencil marks.
  6. Roll the paper into a cylinder and tape the narrow edges of the paper together where they meet. The middle of the lantern will flare out at the crease.
  7. Cut a one-inch wide strip from the narrow end of another sheet of colored paper for your lantern's handle. Use the stapler or tape to affix the handle to the top of the lantern.
  8. Add decorations: stickers, glitter, paint, markers, crayons, and more can be used to make your lantern a thing of beauty!
