Viva La France : long Live France

Our cute stamp celebrate France , the Tower  and Fashion of France. Stamped then colored in pencils.

It was built to celebrate the centennial of the French Revolution

Organizers of the 1889 Exposition Universelle, which commemorated the 100-year anniversary of the fall of the Bastille and the launch of the French Revolution, staged an open competition to design a spectacular centerpiece to their world’s fair. Out of 107 proposals, they selected the design submitted by Eiffel along with architect Stephen Sauvestre and engineers Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier.

Crayon Melted Candles

The Easter Candles :

  •  Crayons
  • soy wax
  • small glass bowl
  • wick and container
In a small glass bowl melt your wax and crayon. Mix. Then set wick into candle contanier and pour first layer in. Let set. Then do each color and  finish your candle.

Crayon Day

 Its National Crayon Day!

I am celebrating by reusing some old school crayons to make new items. This time I am melting some crayons to make new ones.

Take the paper wrapper of and break up to fit these cute silicon molds. Place them on a parchment covered baking sheet and bake till melted

The basic ingredients contained in Crayola crayons are paraffin wax and color pigment. These ingredients are the same for all Crayola crayon colors, with some modifications in special effects crayons.

Crayola crayons begin to melt at around 105° Fahrenheit and have a melting point between 120° - 147° Fahrenheit. The melting point is the same for all regular Crayola crayons; however, the density and amount of pigment included in different crayons will result in varying thickness or viscosity of the mixture.
